As a full service company, we are with you every step of the way, from consultation to installation!

     

Consult: We still make house calls! One of our Window Covering Consultants will bring a vast array of product samplings, plus exciting ideas to help you select the very best window treatments for your home.

Measure: If a final measurement is required by our Master Installer, we professionally measure the windows and doors at a time convenient for you.

Fabricate: Your custom shades, shutters, draperies and blinds are expertly fabricated. You are notified as soon as they are ready for installation and a time is set up that is most convenient for your schedule.

Installation: Our trained Installation Team carefully installs your window and door treatments, taking precautions to leave your home cleaner than when they arrived.

Warranty: We provide a warranty on products and services. Your satisfaction is very important to us.

Products: We stand by products that have been customer, manufacturer and industry tested and approved. We are also constantly reviewing and testing new products and manufacturers to provide you with the best value and highest quality brand names.

 

Meet The Owner!

 

 

Bob Czesnakowicz, president of ShadesToYou, tailored his business to take into consideration the needs of his clients. “We take full responsibility for the process, from the initial contact with the customer to their ultimate satisfaction after installation,” Bob says. “We’ve taken a complicated process and simplified it so we can sell directly and pass the savings on to our customers.” Bob has lived in Orlando for over 30 years with his wife, where they have raised their two children in the Orlando community. He has grown ShadesToYou through hard work and complete dedication to high quality products and customer service. He enjoys meeting customers and applies a very hands on approach to his business.

 

 

Meet Our Staff!

 

 

Melanie is a jack of all trades. She has worked at ShadesToYou for 12 years (yes, you read that right!), and 13 in the window treatment industry. She started with manufacturing, building and repairing window treatments, and throughout her career, she has taken on more responsibilities through her knowledge of the entire industry. She processes all new orders, ensuring the customer is notified throughout the entire process.

She is the Director of the Installation team and provides support throughout the day to guarantee all runs smoothly. Additionally, she supports the Window Covering Consultant staff and is liaison to wholesale customers. She's an expert in the programming of home automation systems and motorized window coverings. See, she really does do it all!

 

 

 

 

Carolyn joined the ShadesToYou team in 2009 bringing her extensive background and years of experience in commercial building plans, construction and estimating. She has a sharp eye for reading and interpreting blue prints and providing detailed bids for the window treatments. She is often able to save commercial clients money by making suggestions for alternative products. She has a working relationship with dozens of contractors and builders, having built up confidence in these clients. She works internally in the accounting department in addition to assisting customers with financing.

Meet Denise!     

 

Denise has been designing and fabricating draperies for nearly ten years and started with ShadesToYou in August of 2009 in order to include blinds, shutters and shades as part of her business.

What she enjoys most about being a window covering consultant is “how much fun it is to help people make their homes more attractive.” She loves to see how excited her customers get about seeing their rooms become beautiful by changing the look with new window coverings. “I recently had a client tell me that, in addition to loving the beautiful new look of their windows, they also loved that their power bill went way down after their windows were redecorated, a double bonus!”

When asked why she enjoys working for ShadesToYou, she says, “it enables me to meet the nicest people…  I truly mean that! It's fun to help people beautify the homes they live in! I also enjoy working for a local, family owned business. It's a much more personable work environment. I feel fortunate to really enjoy the people I work with.”

 

Meet Petra!

 

 

 

Petra has been in the window covering business for over three years. What she enjoys most about being a window covering consultant is “that I can help my customers with design options for their windows. I like to be creative and this job is very flexible.” Originally from Austria, Petra has a love of travel and also enjoys volunteering at her daughters' school.

Julie has been in the window treatment business for seven years. When asked what she loves most about the window covering industry and working for ShadesToYou, she says, "I most enjoy the people I meet and make happy! I enjoy working with ShadesToYou because they are a reputable company run by people with integrity and an eagerness to provide quality products and service. I like knowing that when I sell a product I am not only providing something tangible but also providing the best of the best in service! I appreciate knowing that I don't have to worry about a job once I make a sale because ShadesToYou prides itself on seeing a project to completion with meticulous attention to detail and customer follow up!"

 

 

 

 

Meet Angie!

 

 

Angie has a life-long passion for interior design and decorating and enjoys the ability to be creative on a daily basis as a Window Covering Consultant. When asked what she loves most about working for ShadesToYou, she says, "I enjoy meeting new people... and what could be more fun than helping someone make their home more beautiful and reflective of who they are?! Window treatments are such a huge factor in any room. They transform it. Collaborating with my clients to design a new window treatment and then seeing their excitement is the best feeling ever!" As a Hunter Douglas certified affiliate, Angie constantly seeks to stay informed of current design trends and colors to help her clients stay ahead of the curve.

Angie is a third generation Floridian born and raised in the Sanford, Lake Mary area. She is an active Member of Heathrow Country Club's "Heathrow Niners" ladies golf group.

 

 

 

Meet Jenn!

 

 

 

Jenn, who likes to refer to herself as “The Shade Lady," has enjoyed being an in-home window-covering consultant with ShadesToYou, since 2009. Having a passion for home improvement and interior design, she has provided much thoughtful and enthusiastic help to all of her customers. Her customers appreciate Jenn’s knowledge of popular products and current decorating trends, which she's built through her twelve-year career in the real estate industry.

 

Meet Evette!

 

 

Evette has been in the window treatment business for four years. As an interior designer, Evette will explain that the way windows are dressed is one of the most important decorating factors. "Window coverings serve far more than a style or look, they must also address practical needs such as privacy, the room's exposure, and the window's architecture." She also says, "windows themselves can actually detract from, rather than adds to the space with factors such as: it's not square, too short, too thin, devoid of appealing wood trim or awkward positioning. This is really where good window covering design can camouflage the architectural imperfections, making the window a more visually appealing feature. After all, the windows are the room's focal point!"

 

When asked what Evette loves most about working at ShadesToYou, she says, "Working as a Window Covering Consultant at ShadesToYou, I have the best window covering products available to me and I am backed up by name brands such as Hunter Douglas, which gives me the freedom to design exceptional window covering designs." Evette has lived in the Orlando area since 2008 and enjoys spending time with her two children and three grandchildren. As a very involved member of her community, Evette is a member of Military (Retired) U.S. Navy, American Society of Interior Design (ASID), U.S. Green Building Code (USGBC), Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando (HBA), and is a 2012-2013 Parade of Homes Judge. 

 

 

Meet Jeremy!

 

 

 

Jeremy is our Master Installer and has been working with ShadesToYou for over 3 years. He is trained in every window treatment, drapery style and motorization. He prides himself by working in a timely fashion with precision and professionalism. When asked what he likes most about working at ShadesToYou, Jeremy said, "I love working with people and helping them find solutions that different window treatments can provide, like energy efficiency and privacy."
